Phaael Wakley
I graduated from Uni with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art in 2001. I then immediately decided to become a snowboard instructor and followed the winter to Canada, and eventually to Japan, where I still live over 20 years later.
In all that time I continued to scribble and sketch. But I needed to really let my art out and I started experimenting with painting on my son’s baby clothes. It’s a continuing process but finally I feel my work is worth sharing. Maybe I’m biased but I really like wearing the clothes I paint. Typically my art combines my love for capoeira & fantasy, with other designs here and there.
